1. Measure around your dog's neck, leaving room for one to two fingers underneath.
2. Cut off the extra length with scissors on the side marked for cutting.
3. Remove the end cap and reinsert it into the cut end of the tube.
4. Fasten the buckle and turn on the light.

Measure Twice, Cut Once

Cutting is permanent, and the collar can't be lengthened afterward. Measure while your dog is standing, add finger room, and trim a little at a time if you're unsure.
